Re : "unable to open an initial console" what is the solution?

You need to build the root file system /dev/console

|
Re : "unable to open an initial console" what is the solution?

Thank you! I should have used the root file system /dev/console in 2.4.x kernel when no such problem! It is likely to be a problem here!

"Console=ttySMX0,115200n8
I set up some questions, so you are also installed in 2.4? Generally console=ttyS0,115200?
Hope help!

Re : "unable to open an initial console" what is the solution?

"Console=ttySMX0" is the name of the serial mx1, free to change! And I also used console=ttyS0,115200 reform, but the results are the same!

Actually, the problem is I would very much like to find out. I do a file system, network loading is a good, if I ended up under ramfs document image into memory (also Kernel Memory), the command line : root=/dev/ram0 rootfstype=ramfs console=ttyS0. 115,200, when it is in the guide, is also said to open console, the network carrying Why can open? Anyway, I was not always understand. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Jffs2 replaced, could not even installed! Ha ha Kernel panic : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on mtdblock2

Re : "unable to open an initial console" what is the solution?

If the cramfs filesystem is being used, you can mount it on you host machine. Then you can check if /dev/console have correct properties. Maybe, if not complicated, using devfs will solve your problem.

"If the cramfs filesystem is being used, you can mount it on you host machine. , "Then you can check if /dev/console have correct properties. "Maybe, if not complicated, using devfs will solve your problem.
Now, I have also added a compiler support devfs nuclear option, which is not activated : Warning:unable to open an initial console More than : Mounted devfs on /dev Just like other on the back, nothing has been! Equipment is a mess reflect the characters!
Then I think the issue should be rootfs image to see the contents of the /etc/securetty found really no ttySMX0 Thus read ttySMX0 ttyS0, ttyS1 ttySMX1 to re-generated after downloading, but still I am disappointed, and Just the same! Beatit heroes also requested further guidance of any kind!

What is the meaning behind no : . . . Here with the same front. . . NET : Registered protocol family 1 VFS : Mounted root (cramfs filesystem) readonly. Mounted devfs on /dev Freeing init memory : 56K
"Freeing init memory : 56K" after they did not show that Then I stroke back significantly on the distortion!
/etc/securetty A console, which reads as follows : Tty0 Tty1 Tty2 Tty3 Tty4 Tty5 Tty6 Tty7 Tty8 TtySMX0 TtySMX1 TtyAM0 TtyAM1 Console
