FreeBSD how it started diskette?

Thank you

Re : FreeBSD how it started diskette?

You are to launch a hard disk system? ? ? If only my own!

It is time to start the installation diskette?

There are two documents kern.flp installation disk, mfsroot.flp. They can write on the disk, roughly an order for DOS
E:\> tools\fdimage floppies\kern.flp A :

Specific details of the HandBook Http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/install-pre.html 2.2.6 Prepare the Boot Discs are described in detail. Besides these two documents can be downloaded from here

Re : It is time to start the installation diskette?

That is the installation disk! Halo, others to the Startup Disk. It is estimated that it is not your thing, take, because it knows how to do things in general.

Re : It is time to start the installation diskette?

Is a way picobsd
Again, Romania dd Sector

Class, in spite of these days I turn to drive

That should mean the startup disk loader bar, but I generally do not regard it as part of bsd. I think the more appropriate as an independent third-party software.

I refer, of how to use the software installed after the start, rather than start from the hard drive.

Disk Sector dd is a ah.

Re : I refer to is how to use the software installed after the start, rather than start from the hard drive.

Is dd if=/dev/ad0s1 of=/dev/fd0 block=512 count=1

Re : FreeBSD how it started diskette?

Disklabel should be used.
Disklabel versus B-b /boot/boot1 /dev/fd0 s /boot/boot2 fd1440
I have not tried diskette, hard disk can be used.

Re : I refer to is how to use the software installed after the start, rather than start from the hard drive.

With r way.
Dd if=/dev/rad0s3 of=bootsect.bsd bs=512
Dd if=bootsect.bsd of=/dev/fd0c bs=512
