"/" is not a valid location. Please check the spelling and try again. but the / and /root are good. why ?

我改了fstab
 

/dev/BOOT -> /dev/hda1
/dev/ROOT -> /dev/hda2
错误是GNOME启动以后出现的. gnome 没有菜单,没有桌面图标.

I found it !
 

emerge /usr/portage/gnome-base/gnome-vfs/gnome-vfs-2.0.4-r2.ebuild

It took me a few hours to figure that out

seems to work, nautilus started with a few errors (wasnt in gnome at the time)

added the output for an 'emerge gnome-vfs' to the bug report

Love this distro, makes me feel like my computer is held together by steel and bubblegum
