Children who wanted to see themselves "morphed" posed for a digital photo snapped by a librarian. That image then went to library graphic designer Cathi Bartels, who custom-distorted each one on a computer using Adobe Photoshop.
At another activity station, children lined up to have their photos taken with a Harry Potter effigy that sports a Gryffindor scarf, a library summer reading program T-shirt, a stuffed owl and a Golden Snitch along with Harrys trademark glasses. Librarians promised to e-mail the digital snapshots to patrons home computers and handed out free souvenir Snitches to whoever wanted one.
